Health Transition
Coaching & Consulting

I support adults who receive a life-changing diagnosis navigate healthcare and move forward positively – with science, compassion, and hard-won wisdom.

My Approach

From Scientist to Patient

A Healing Journey

People ask me all the time “What did you do to heal?” or “How did you heal?” This is a question I have pondered for a long time and have finally come to the realization that what worked for me may not work for someone else. But there are lessons that can be shared.

When I began my healing journey, I was only interested in pursuing conventional medicine – as a scientist, it was what I knew. As my disease progressed, I was forced to venture outside of my comfort zone out of desperation. I went through a process of trial and error to figure out my “healing formula.”

I experimented with a lot of different healing modalities – some of which worked for me and many did not. I did eventually lean into three integrative approaches that became the foundation of my framework.

The Framework

Three Pillars of Integrative Healing

My coaching framework integrates three complementary approaches – each one essential, none sufficient alone.

i.
  • Identifies specific biological causes
  • Uses targeted interventions
  • Highly specialized by organ or disease
  • Regulated by government bodies like the FDA
ii.

Diagnostic and therapeutic disciplines used alongside conventional medicine to improve overall well-being, manage symptoms, or reduce side effects.

iii.

Intentional changes to daily habits aimed at improving physical health, mental well-being, and long-term disease prevention – the “first line of defense.”

Why This Work Matters

A Framework for Moving Forward

Even as a cancer biologist with deep expertise in oncology technology and clinical care, I struggled to discern the vast myriad of options across these three categories.

In order to help others cope with a life-changing diagnosis, I have developed a framework to help patients identify elements within these three pillars and integrate them into a unique solution that helps them cope and move forward positively.

I work one-on-one with a limited client load to ensure my clients receive the care and support they need.
